Procedures for diagnosis and treatment:
Allergy skin tests (prick test, intradermal test and patch tests) : Skin tests can be applied from the first month of life. However, these tests should be done by competent hands, namely by Pediatric allergists or ‘Child Allergy Doctor’s’. In order to allergy skin tests to give accurate results, patients should not take antihistamine-containing allergy, flu, cold and cough medicines within the last week before the test day. According to the complaints of our patients, sometimes only skin tests, sometimes blood allergy tests or sometimes both tests may be required for a correct diagnosis.
